[0001] REFERENCE TO RELATED REQUESTS [0002] This application is based on and claims priority from Japanese Patent Application No. 2017-250580 filed on 27décembre2017 whose entire contents are incorporated herein by reference. [0003] DOMAIN [0004] One or more embodiments of the present invention relates to a playable fusible bead made of a water soluble resin. [0005] CONTEXT [0006] Playable fusible beads made of a water soluble resin are known. For example, JP-U-3131292 discloses a set of play beads which employs spherical fusible beads made of a water soluble resin. JP-A-2013-143986 discloses a transparent blocky play fuse bead made of a water soluble resin. [0007] For example, a user can play using these fusible game beads in the following manner. First, spherical or polyhedral fuse play beads are selected in a desired pattern and placed on a support tray which is formed of recesses. In this state, the game fusible beads are in contact with each other. Then, water is sprayed onto the fusible game beads using a sprayer or the like, whereby the fusible game beads are wetted. As a result, the play fusible beads melt and play fusible beads which are in contact with each other are connected together. If dried as is, they harden while they are held together. Alternatively, it is possible to harden playable fusible beads which are deposited in layers. In this way, the user can enjoy the enjoyable play of making a set of playable fusible beads while selecting spherical beads and polyhedral beads in a desired pattern or shape. [0008] ABSTRACT [0009] For example, a set of Play Fuse Beads is produced using multiple Play Fuse Beads only. To give another example, sometimes one plays so as to form holes or the like in a set of playable fusible beads and to insert, into the holes or the like, other things than decorative elements (for example, similar toys. jewelry, or beads). A produced set of playable fusible beads can be attached to a bag, clothing, or the like as an ornament. In order to attach other things to a set of playable fusible beads by inserting the raw ones into it, or to bring a set of playable fusible beads outside as an ornament, it may appear that the cohesion of the game fusible beads is insufficient. [0010] An object of one or more embodiments of the present invention is to provide a playable fuse bead capable of increasing the cohesion of fuse playbeads. [0011] A playable fuse bead according to one or more embodiments of the present invention includes a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of recesses. [0012] According to one or more embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to provide a playable fuse bead capable of increasing the cohesion of fuse playbeads. [0013] Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge more clearly on reading the description below, given with reference to the appended drawings, in which: [0014] is a perspective view of a playable fuse bead according to one embodiment of the invention; [0015] is a perspective view showing an example of using a set of playbeads which employs fusible playbeads according to the embodiment; [0016] is an enlarged perspective view of a portion of the set of playable fusible beads shown in Fig. which employs playable fusible beads according to the embodiment; [0017] is a perspective view of a playable fuse bead according to a first modification of the embodiment; [0018] is a perspective view of a playable fuse bead according to a second modification of the embodiment; [0019] is a plan view of a playable fuse bead according to a third modification of the embodiment; [0020] is a front view of a playable fuse bead according to a third modification of the embodiment; [0021] is a perspective view of a playable fuse bead according to a third modification of the embodiment; [0022] is a plan view of a playable fuse bead according to a fourth modification of the embodiment; [0023] is a front view of a playable fuse bead according to a fourth modification of the embodiment; [0024] is a perspective view of a playable fuse bead according to a fourth modification of the embodiment; [0025] is a plan view of a playable fuse bead according to a fifth modification of the embodiment; [0026] is a front view of a playable fuse bead according to a fifth modification of the embodiment; [0027] is a perspective view of a playable fuse bead according to a fifth modification of the embodiment. [0028] DETAILED DESCRIPTION [0029] One or more embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. As shown in Fig. 1, a play fuse bead10 is formed with several protrusions12 and recesses13. [0030] Each protuberance12 has several (i.e., four) flat quadrilateral surfaces 12a through 12d. The flat surfaces 12a to 12d form a peak 12e by being combined together such that adjoining surfaces share one side. For example, a flat surface 12a-1 shares one side with each of the adjoining flat surfaces 12b-1 and 12d-1. [0031] Several protrusions which are adjacent to each protuberance 12 are arranged radially. For example, six protrusions 12-2 to 12-7 which are adjacent to a protuberance 12-1 are arranged radially. Any of the flat surfaces 12a to 12d of each protrusion 12 is continuous with any of the flat surfaces 12a to 12d of the adjacent protrusion 12. In this way, the playable fuse bead 10 according to the embodiment has 18 protuberances 12 and therefore has 72 flat surfaces (flat surfaces 12a to 12d). [0032] Each recess13 is formed by connecting three flat surfaces (three of the flat surfaces12a to 12d), opposed to each other, of three adjacent protuberances12. For example, a recess 13-1 is formed by connecting three flat surfaces 12a-1, 12b-4 and 12d-5, opposed to each other, of the three adjacent protrusions 12-1, 12-4 and 12-5. More specifically, the three flat surfaces 12a-1, 12b-4 and 12d-5 which are opposed to each other are connected to each other so as to share, in the formation of the recess 13-1, the sides of the three surfaces plates12a-1, 12b-4 and 12d-5, not shared with any of the flat surfaces12b-1, 12d-1, 12a-4, 12c-4, 12a-5 and 12c-5, abutting the three flat surfaces12a-1, 12b-4 and 12d-5 and contributing to the formation of protrusions 12-1, 12-4 and 12-5, are connected to each other. Each recess13 has a bottom of recess13e (13e-1). The resulting fuse bead10 thus formed assumes a star shape when projected from at least one direction. [0033] The playable fusible bead10 is made of a water soluble resin, more specifically, a resin obtained by kneading a resin containing polyvinyl alcohol. The resin to be used to form the playable fusible bead 10 can be formed by selecting a transparent material, a light transmitting material, or an opaque material as appropriate. If the playable fuse bead10 is formed using a transparent or translucent material, light incident on the playable fuse bead10 is repeatedly reflected from protrusions12 and recesses13 or light that has been transmitted therethrough. is repeatedly reflected by protrusions12 and recesses13. In the game fuse bead10 which is a 72-hedron, the distances between the flat surfaces12a through 12d of one protuberance12 and those of another protuberance12 are short. Therefore, diffuse light reflection occurs at the surfaces of the fuse bead 10 to produce high luminance beams of light, whereby the fuse bead 10 appears bright. Also, as mentioned above, the fuse bead game10 may have a star-shaped projection, in which case it looks more beautiful. [0034] Figure 2 shows an example of using a set of play beads80. The set of playbeads80 is equipped with several fusible playbeads10 having the protrusions12 and recesses13, several fusible spherical playbeads22, several fusible polyhedral playbeads24 (rhombic triacontahedron), several decorative resin-plated playbeads30, and a support plate50. [0035] Like each game fusible bead10, each game fusible bead22 and each game fusible bead24 are formed by kneading a resin containing polyvinyl alcohol and molding the resulting mixture into a transparent or opaque, colored or colorless sphere or polyhedron. [0036] Each decorative play bead30 is made of a resin-plated, water-soluble resin. Thus, the surface of each decorative game bead30 is gold, silver, or the like in color and displays high reflectivity. Each decorative play bead30 is held by arranging fusible playbeads 10, 22 and 24 all around and melting and hardening them. [0037] The support plate50 is in the form of a rectangular plate and its surface is formed of several circular recesses52. The recesses52 are shifted to each row (or column). Accordingly, playable fusible beads 10, 22, and 24 can be placed radially around each playable fusible bead 10, 22 or 24 or each decorative play bead 30 which is set in a recess52. The diameter of each recess52 is set smaller than the diameters of the set fusible beads10, 22 and 24, etc., and the distance between adjacent recess centers52 is set so that two set fusible beads10 and 22, 22 and 24 , or 24 and 10 which are placed in adjacent recesses 52 are in contact with each other or spaced from each other only a short distance. [0038] A user can play using the Game Bead Set80 as follows. First, the user places several fusible game beads 10, 22 and 24 and decorative game beads 30 on the support board 50 to form a desired pattern. In the example of Figure 2, a set of play fusible beads 40 is formed by arranging fusible play beads 10, 22, and 24 and decorative play beads 30 as desired to create an overall heart shape. [0039] As shown in Fig. 3 which is an enlarged view of a portion of the fuse bead assembly 40 shown in Fig. 2, adjacent fuse bead 10 are engaged with each other such that a plurality of the surfaces plates 12a to 12d (see figure 1) of one protrusion 12 of one game fuse bead 10 are in contact with several flat surfaces of one protrusion 12 of the other game fuse bead 10. Each of the spherical play fuse beads22 and polyhedral play fuse beads24 also contact several flat surfaces of each of the play fuse beads10 located all around. [0040] When water is sprayed, with a sprayer or the like, onto the fuse bead set40 which is placed on the support board50, surface layers of the fuse beads10, 22 and 24 melt and the fuse beads10 , 22 and 24 are connected to each other. The excess water drains towards the recesses52 of the support plate50 and is stored there. The set fusible game beads 40 is then dried as is, whereby the fusible game beads 10, 22 and 24 harden while being held connected to each other. Therefore, each of the fuse play beads 10, 22 and 24 which contacts several of the flat surfaces 12a to 12d of a protrusion 12 of a fuse bead 10 has a larger contact area than each of the spherical fuse play beads 22 which are in contact with each other or each of the polyhedral play fuse beads 24 which are in contact with each other. This increases the cohesion which is obtained when the set of fusible beads set40 is hardened. [0041] In the following, descriptions will be made of modifications which are different in terms of shape with respect to the playable fuse bead 10 according to the embodiment of the invention. [0042] (Amendment 1) [0043] A game fuse bead 10A shown in FIG. 4 has several protrusions 12A and several recesses 13A. The protrusions12A are approximately semi-spherical. Several protrusions 12A adjacent to each protuberance 12A are arranged radially such that their surfaces are connected to each other. More specifically, for example, six protrusions 12A-2 to 12A-7 are arranged radially around a protrusion 12A-1. A recess13A (eg, recess 13A-1) is formed at the center of three protrusions 12A opposite to each other (eg, protrusions 12A-1 through 12A-3). [0044] (Amendment 2) [0045] A play fuse bead 10B shown in FIG. 5 has several protrusions 12B and several recesses 13B. The protrusions12B are approximately semi-spherical. Several protrusions12B adjoining each protuberance12B are arranged radially such that their surfaces are connected to each other. More specifically, for example, four protrusions 12B-2 to 12B-5 are arranged radially around a protuberance 12B-1. A recess13B (eg, recess 13B-1) is formed in the center of three protrusions 12B opposite to each other (eg, protrusions 12B-1 to 12B-3). [0046] (Amendment 3) [0047] A play fuse bead 10C shown in Figures 6A to 6C has several protrusions 12C and several recesses 13C. Since the protrusions 12C-2 and 12C-4 are shown in Figure 6B as side views, each of the five protrusions 12C (protrusions 12C-1 to 12C-5) extends in one direction, namely the up-down direction, so as to have an outer circumference in the form of a circular arc. Each protrusion 12C is formed to be elliptical in a front view (see protrusion 12C-3 shown in ) and become narrower as the position moves towards the outer edge (see Figures 6A and 6C). In Fig. 6A which is a plan view, the game fuse bead 10C adopts a star shape. This means, as shown in Fig. 6A, that the fuse bead of game 10C adopts a star shape when projected from at least one direction. A 13C recess (13C-1, 13C-2, 13C-3, 13C-4 or 13C-5) which is long in the direction, i.e., the up-down direction, is formed between adjoining protrusions among the protrusions 12C-1 at 12C-5. [0048] (Amendment 4) [0049] A fuse bead 10D game shown in Figures 7A to 7C has several protrusions 12D and several recesses 13D. Since the protrusions 12D-2 and 12D-4 are shown in Fig. 7B as side views, each of the five protrusions 12D (protrusions 12D-1 to 12D-5) extends in one direction, namely the up-down direction, so as to have an outer circumference in the form of a circular arc. Each 12D protuberance is shaped to become narrower as position moves toward the outer edge (see Figure 7A) and to be connected to continuous spherical surfaces at its high end and low end, as shown in Figs. Figures 7A and 7C respectively. In Fig. 7A which is a plan view, the play fuse bead 10C adopts a star shape. In other words, as shown in Figure 7A, the 10D game fuse bead assumes a star shape when projected from at least one direction. A 13D recess (13D-1, 13D-2, 13D-3, 13D-4 or 13D-5) which is long in the direction, namely the up-down direction, is formed between adjoining protrusions among the protrusions 12D-1 to 12D-5. [0050] (Amendment 5) [0051] A play fuse bead 10E shown in FIGS. 8A to 8C has several protuberances 12E and several recesses 13E. Since the protrusions 12E-2 and 12E-4 are shown in figure 8B as side views, each of the five protrusions 12E (protrusions 12E-1 to 12E5) extends in one direction, namely the up-down direction, so to have an upper outer circumference in the form of a circular arc and a lower right outer circumference. Each protuberance 12E is formed to become narrower as the position moves towards the outer edge (see Fig. 8A), and is connected to a semi-spherical portion 15E at its lower end. As shown in Figure 8A, the fuse bead 10E adopts a star shape when projected from at least one direction. A recess13E (recess13E-1, 13E-2, 13E-3, 13E-4 or 13E-5) which is long in the direction, namely the up-down direction, is formed between adjoining protrusions among the protrusions 12E-1 to 12E-5. [0052] The above-described embodiment of the invention can provide play fusible beads which are in the following aspects. [0053] A fuse play bead in a first aspect includes a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of recesses. [0054] In the play fuse bead, another play fuse bead can be engaged with its protrusion and recess. Thus, the contact area between playable fusible beads can be made larger than in conventional cases. This makes it possible to provide a set of fusible game beads in which the cohesion of the fusible game beads is increased. [0055] A set of playable fusible beads is less prone to damage. A user can play more enjoyably by using a set of playable fusible beads by positioning, for example, another decorative element in the set or by attaching the set to a bag, clothing, or the like. [0056] In a fuse bead game according to a second aspect, a shape projected from at least one direction assumes a star shape. [0057] Since the game fusible bead having this feature adopts a star shape in a view from a prescribed direction, a set of game fusible beads can be enriched in terms of decoration effect. [0058] In a playable fuse bead according to a third aspect, a plurality of second protrusions adjacent to a first protrusion of the plurality of protrusions are arranged radially. [0059] In the fuse bead of game having this feature, the protuberances and the recesses can be arranged densely. Thus, the cohesion of the game fusible beads can be increased. [0060] In a fuse bead game according to a fourth aspect, at least one of the plurality of protrusions is formed by a plurality of flat surfaces and has a peak. [0061] In the playable fuse bead having this feature, it is possible to have a set of fuse playbeads that looks beautiful by causing diffuse light reflection from several surfaces. Additionally, since two fuse game beads are engaged with each other such that the peak of a protrusion of one fuse game bead penetrates deep into the bottom of a recess of the other bead, the cohesion of the game fusible beads can be further increased. [0062] In a fuse bead game according to a fifth aspect, a plurality of flat surfaces are four flat quadrilateral surfaces. [0063] In the fuse bead game having this feature, since a protuberance is formed by four surfaces, a mold project which does not cause a notch can be set up in the case of the manufacture of a fuse bead of game by injection molding. [0064] A fuse bead game according to a sixth aspect, the number of the plurality of protrusions is 18, and the number of the plurality of flat surfaces is 72. [0065] In the playable fuse bead having this feature, a blocky shape having many flat surfaces can be compactly formed. Thus, it becomes possible to have a set of playable fusible beads that looks beautiful by diffused light reflection while increasing the contact area. [0066] A fuse bead according to a seventh contains a transparent or light-transmitting material. [0067] In the game fuse bead having this peculiarity, not only a light shining directly on the game fuse bead but also a light coming out of it after passing through the interior of the game fuse bead is reflected from flat surfaces of a protrusion or recess. And a light that has passed through and gone out of one protrusion is reflected by another protrusion or some other recess. This allows the game fuse bead to appear brighter. Therefore, it is possible to make the game fusible bead more beautiful and provide a game fusible bead which is enriched in terms of decoration effect. [0068] Although one or more embodiments of the invention have been described above, the invention is not limited to the embodiments and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of invention.
